Independent enrichment providers coordinate with KWPFO to offer after school enrichment programs immediately following school dismissal at Kaiser and Woodland. Classes are offered each Fall and Spring!

Things to Know
Before Enrolling

Classes are independently operated by third-party providers/vendors. KWPFO helps facilitate scheduling and distributing information to families but does not run or supervise the classes.

School offices, including the health/nurse’s office, are closed during after-school enrichment classes.

Contact the class provider directly with any questions about attendance, supervision, medical needs, medications, allergies, accommodations, behavior, transportation, or other individual needs.

Discuss special needs before enrolling to make sure the provider can accommodate your student and expectations are clear.

KWPFO and NMUSD are not responsible for the operation or supervision of the classes or other aspects of a student’s participation.

Enrollment for all classes begins Wednesday, September 16 at noon.

Classes begin the week of Monday, October 12. Each class will have 8 sessions, except for Wednesday classes which will have 6 (due to school non-student days). Class times vary based on the school calendar to immediately follow school dismissal, so mark your calendars accordingly.

By enrolling a student in an after-school enrichment class, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees that the class is provided and operated solely by an independent third-party provider/vendor and not by Kaiser Woodland Parent Faculty Organization (“KWPFO”) or Newport-Mesa Unified School District ("NMUSD"). KWPFO and NMUSD do not operate, supervise, or control the class and are not responsible for attendance, supervision, medical care, medications, allergies, accommodations, behavioral support, transportation, or any other aspect of a student's participation. School offices, including the health/nurse's office, will be closed during the program. Parents/guardians are solely responsible for coordinating directly with the provider regarding their student's participation and any medical, behavioral, accessibility, or other special needs. All questions regarding a class or a student's individual needs should be directed to the provider before enrollment to ensure the provider can meet the student's needs and that expectations are aligned.
