How to Get Involved
There are many ways to volunteer and get involved on campus, in the classroom, and with the PFO. Share your talents and time with the staff and children.
The PFO is always looking for extra hands to help. From being a room or tech parent to leading a committee to being involved in the Executive Board, your talent and time is greatly appreciated.
To volunteer on campus, in the classroom, or on field trips, the district requires that you be a “cleared” volunteer. To learn more about the simple process, please visit the Newport-Mesa District website.

Kaiser PFO 2020-2021 Board Positions
Following a school year which saw our students learning at home, and missing annual and milestone events in their school career, the PFO is looking forward to approaching the 2020-21 school year with a fresh start, but also with a more holistic and realistic outlook on what it takes as a Parent Faculty Organization charged with supporting our schools and our students in this ever-changing environment. This year we have a number of long-standing parent volunteers graduating on to 7th grade with their youngest student(s) and a number of new positions are proposed for this year to bolster the PFO’s ability to effectively support Kaiser and Woodland Elementary.
If you are passionate about your child’s education and have a desire to get involved (or know someone who does), please review the list of roles and their related descriptions to see where your time and talents could be utilized. If you have interest in a position or have questions about the opportunities or simply want to learn more about the PFO, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
