Red Ribbon Week

Drug-Free & Unity

Kaiser Elementary takes part in National Red Ribbon Week, where we focus on being drug-free. We will also emphasize the importance of looking out for each other by celebrating Unity Day and talk about bullying awareness.

The National Red Ribbon Week theme this year is “Send a Message, Stay Drug Free.” We’ll pair this with the Unity Day theme of “Together against bullying. United for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.”

Throughout the week, Kaiser Knights will have chances to immerse themselves in the Red Ribbon Week experiences, enjoy the decorated campus and participate to win prizes by contributing their own healthy habit ideas.

Show your Kaiser spirit every day!

Monday, 10/21
Wear red – Send a message, stay drug free

Tuesday, 10/22
Wear sports gear or athletic clothes – Be active with healthy habits

Wednesday, 10/23
Wear blue or Be Kind t-shirt – Unity Day: Together against bullying for kindness, acceptance and inclusion

Thursday, 10/24
Wear clothes inside out – Managing stress: Don’t turn yourself inside out

Friday 10/25
Kaiser spirit wear or college gear – Build a strong foundation: Your future is strong

We encourage our Kaiser families to talk about your children’s futures, making good choices, and believing in themselves. Encourage them to listen to the morning announcements for daily themes and activities. We hope to create the resiliency that promotes positive choices.
