Welcome to the Read-a-Thon!
Ahoy Parents & Guardians!
Starting November 6th, join us as we set sail on the Kaiser & Woodland Read-A-Thon Fundraiser adventure, anchored by KWPFO (Kaiser Woodland Parent Faculty Organization). This year's theme is "Dive into Reading," and we invite our students to embark on a deep dive into the ocean of books.
We have set an ambitious goal of $45,000! We're delighted to announce that this year, we'll be funding two new part-time support teachers! The funds will also continue to support technology, arts, science, and enrichment opportunities, as well as on-campus activities.
From November 6th to 17th, we invite our divers to:

Begin their journey by creating a Read-a-thon account at mybooster.com

Log their reading minutes and collect online donations at mybooster.com

Complete a Treasure Hunt Game with sea-worthy reading activities
- Go to mybooster.com to begin.
- Click 'login' (if you have an account) or 'Sign Up' (if the student has never used the site.)
- Click 'I'm a Parent/Guardian' and fill in the parent's name, email, password and birthdate (must be the parent's information). If you already have an account, this information will be populated, but you will need to re-enter your password and login.
- Search for your school by typing in Kaiser/Woodland Elementary.
- Enter the student's first and last name and select their Teacher's name.
- Agree to terms and continue.
- Register another student or Select No.
- Click 'View Participant Dashboard' and begin pledging!
- Login to mybooster.com.
- Click the menu in the top right and click on 'Log Minutes Read'.
- Enter the date on which you read.
- Enter the number of minutes read as a whole number (i.e. 30 minutes would be entered as 30, 1 hour and 30 minutes would be entered as 90 minutes, etc.)
- Click 'Log Minutes Read'.
- Click on your Log to view and edit the minutes read.

Create a Read-a-thon account and receive a bookmark for your reader’s adventure.
Spend just 60 minutes reading and secure a sea-inspired collector’s wristband.
Sail through reading goals and collect more s for your charms wristband at 120, 240, and 370 minutes.
Champions alert! The top 3 reading adventurers from each grade, boasting the most minutes read will snag a $15 gift card, plus (1) free admission to Pirate's Dinner Adventure.
Class unity wins! The top class with the most collective reading minutes from each grade will be rewarded with an extra recess.
